speediestaffsolutions largest client in FNQ, Howe Farms, recently agreed to a worker request to provide opportunities for a number of SWP applicants from the island of Ambae which was recently affected by the Level 4 Manaro volcanic eruption. To this end, speediestaffsolutions with the assistance of the Aoba Tropical Group, are in the process of placing 8 workers with Howe Farms who all come from the affected island of Ambae. These workers are scheduled to arrive on 16/07/18. The 8 hopefuls have highlighted that any opportunity to work in Australia for Howe Farms will allow them to improve their situations back home. Employment in Australia will provide a means of income generation to purchase building materials for homes, and paying for their children’s school fees. This is very important given that the volcano has destroyed a significant proportion of the islands cash crops. Of special note about this group of 8 workers, and something that speediestaffsolutions, Howe Farms and Aoba Tropical Group are especially proud of, is that the group comprises 3 females. It is always pleasing to see both the genders working towards improving the lives of their families and communities back home!
