speediestaffsolutions are seeking an Executive Support Officer to work closely with the Director Community and Governance, providing high level administrative assistance and support for the implementation, monitoring and reporting of robust governance systems.

 

Essential Criteria:

  • Certificate III in Administration or Business or equivalent.
  • Experience providing high level support services in a similar position.
  • Extensive experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Extensive experience designing and producing complex documents and presentations.
  • Proven ability to touch type with advanced word processing skills, including a high level of speed and accuracy.
  • Sound organisation skills and ability to plan and prioritise multiple projects while consistently meeting agreed timeframes.
  • Well-developed verbal communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage conflict, persuade and negotiate.
  • High level written communication skills and ability to research, prepare correspondence and write reports that simplify complex matters.
  • Ability to work independently, use initiative and work as a member of a team.
  • Working knowledge of the roles and responsibilities set out in the Workplace Health and Safety Act.
  • Australian Drivers Licence.

 

Desirable

  • Experience working in the NSW Local Government Industry.

 

This is a temporary 6 month position, hours are full time, 35 hour week (9 day fortnight).
