The backbone of our organisation is Tablelands Community Employment & Training Inc., trading as Jobs Australia. JA has been providing employment related services in the New England region since 1986. These services have concentrated on the districts surrounding Armidale, including Guyra, Uralla, Walcha, Inverell along with Tamworth and Gunnedah. In the initial years our focus was training and support services for the unemployed members of the community. In recent years our mission statement and focus has changed considerably to what is now an organisation providing professional recruitment and personnel related services to employers.

The Board oversees all activity of TCET Inc. from the formulation of Business Plans through to budget analysis. The staff of TCET Inc. is empowered to carry out their duties within the guidelines set and the organisation’s mission statement.
